Children can be taught to pray by incorporating other principals such as love and patience. As parents we have a responsibility to bring our children up in righteousness. Here are some ideas to help you.
Praying should be out loud. Your child may not readily understand what praying is. To help try replacing the word “pray” with the word “talk.” Encourage them to talk with God. It is said of men of old that they walked and talked with God.
Teaching your children love and patience is important when they are learning to pray. These two virtues when practiced keep our hearts soft and teachable. The prophet Samuel was able hear the still small voice of the Lord because his heart was teachable.
Understanding love is necessary when teaching your children to pray. Love gives us hope in the future and a feeling of security. When our children learn that the very nature of God is love they will want to be close to him.
Love is the most powerful force in the universe. When children are little they may not understand the word “love” but they certainly understand the emotion. You have been there for them from the beginning and you can share with them how God has been there for both of you from the beginning.
Teaching children patience is necessary when teaching children to pray because God does not always give an answer right away. Kids are growing up in a world where everything is provided for them immediately. From the time they are babies all they need to do is cry and their caregiver rushes to satisfy their needs. Unfortunately, this crying does not stop just because they learn to speak.
One of the best ways to teach patience is to share with your child times when you feel impatient and how you cope with that emotion. When you are driving, for example, you want to get to your destination quickly. Consider telling your children that you are going to be patient so you do not put lives in danger. Show that there are natural rewards.
When we teach our children to pray we also need to teach them about love and patience. God is love and will always answer our prayers. We must be patient though and be willing to wait for him to answer us.

Stuffed toys are child’s most precious possession. A child creates special emotional bondage with his stuffed toys which makes it very difficult for him to give away. Stuffed toys are your child imaginary friend whom he can talk to when everyone else isn’t present.
Many mothers have expressed concerns that they hear their children talking to their favorite stuffed toys, hugs them when they get back to school and take them to bed with them. What they don’t understand is that their children are absolutely physiologically healthy and any thing else isn’t. A normal healthy child opens up his senses to the world and communicates in his own way with his surrounding which might be difficult to understand from an adult point of view.
This emotional bondage that a child creates with his stuffed toy makes it very difficult for him to give away. It is a common word that we hear coming out of a child when someone asks him to give his stuffed toy “No, This is mine, Mammy got it for me”. Mothers get troubled by hearing these words as they think that their children are growing selfish and not giving. They try to force their children into giving things away which creates a very harmful emotional experience in the child mind that might affect his whole future.
The right way to teach your child to give his old stuffed toys is to convince him that there are other children out there who are unprivileged as he is and they need these old toys more than he does. It is always a good idea to take your child to see other children in orphanages or children in poor neighborhoods where their parents can’t get them any toys to play with to understand that they really need his old stuff. Invite your child to deliver his stuffed toys to these children and play with them.
Many might think that this would be a hard emotional experience for a child to pass but they are absolutely wrong. This experience will teach your children how to appreciate what they have and work hard to keep it. Also it strengths their social commitment to the society and make them effective contributing citizens.
It is always a good idea to reward your child for his good deeds by taking him to the toy store to get a new gift of his choice. This new toy will motivate him to do more good things to get new things. These actions will repeat until giving is a habit in your child behavior and will remain in his mind as a wonderful experience that gives him a good feeling of self esteem.
In order to make this experience more exciting for your child, Add some “I am proud of you son” flavor to the gift you give to your child after giving away his old toys. Transform your child drawing into stuffed toys adding a nice photo of you and your family and nice words to tell your child how much you love him. Rest assured that your child will always remember this stuffed toy for the rest of his life and it will be the first thing comes up in his mind when he does a good thing along with your sweet voice saying to him “That’s my baby”.

We all enjoy being told our children are behaving well. Here are 5 things to remember when teaching your children manners.
1. Do not be disappointed if your child does not learn to chew with their mouth closed when they are 2. This takes tremendous coordination but when they are 5, a child is ready learn.
2. Example is the best teacher for children. 95% of what we do we learn through example. Our children learn to walk and talk by mimicking us, they will also learn our bad manners.
3. Speak respectfully to your child. Have you ever observed a parent trying to drill respect into a child by being demeaning to that child? Your children learn by watching you. Try using words and phrases like “please” and “thank you” “Excuse me” and “I am sorry.” Do this as early as possible in your child’s development. Also the tone you use is just as important.
4. Language is a sign of education and good manners. Swearing is a part of our culture but it does not have to be part of your child’s vernacular if you do not want it to be. Make sure you use proper language around your children.
5. Formality with adults. Impertinent children speak informally to adults. At least this was the case 100 years ago. Teach your children to say Mr. and Mrs. and Ms. unless the adult tells them otherwise. Also mind how you speak about other adults in the presence of your children.
In conclusion, always set the example first. Teach your children to be respectful with other adults and they will naturally be more respectful towards you.

Aluminum, Cast Iron, Clay, Copper, Stainless Steel…. With so many materials and styles to choose from, how do you know which cookware will suit your needs? While it’s not a one-size-fits-all situation, there are some basic things that are helpful to know about each cookware type before making your purchase. Here are some things you’ll want to keep in mind:
Let’s start with aluminum. Aluminum is a good heat conductor, it’s lightweight, and it’s inexpensive. As a softer metal, Aluminum cookware can dent and scratch somewhat easily. This metal can also have a reaction with acidic foods, (like tomato sauce), and therefore change the taste of your food. Anodized or hard anodized are a stronger, processed aluminum that has been coated with a non-stick, scratch-resistant surface so that the aluminum does not react with acidic foods. Always keep in mind that non-stick surfaces are generally not dishwasher compatible.
Cast iron has been around for a long time. It has excellent heat retention and is a very durable metal. Available in enameled and non-enameled finishes, the non-enameled will require periodic seasoning with a thin layer of vegetable oil for longevity. Cast iron should be hand-washed and it being a very heavy cookware material, it is not recommended for those suffering from arthritis or for anyone who has issues lifting heavy objects.
Clay cookware dates back thousands of years to the Romans. Ideal for roasting and baking both meats and vegetables, these cookers require soaking in water for 15-30 minutes prior each use. Has a reputation for being a very healthy cooking method as it cooks in the natural juices and requires no added fats or oils. Breakable if dropped, can last many years with proper care.
Copper is an excellent conductor of heat but, like Aluminum, is a soft metal, known to react with acidic foods. Many copper pots are now available with stainless steel linings to prevent acidic food reactions. The higher quality copper/stainless steel pots are on the expensive end of cookware prices and purchasers should expect to polish their cookware frequently to maintain the beautiful luster.
Stainless Steel is very versatile and is probably the most widespread material used in kitchens across the country. Its attractiveness, easy maintenance, relatively inexpensive price and durability make it a popular choice. Plain stainless steel is not a good conductor of heat, so many of the better stainless steel pots are known as “Tri-Ply” with an interior and exterior layer of stainless steel encapsulating a layer of aluminum – creating excellent heat conductivity. As with aluminum, any non-stick versions would not be dishwasher safe.
You will most likely want to purchase a variety of cookware – many people start out with a quality set of stainless steel pots along with some add-ons like clay roasters and cast iron skillets or Dutch ovens to round out your collection. Buy the best quality of cookware that you can reasonably afford and then add pieces as your needs and budget dictate. Or even better, you can drop hints at birthdays and holidays.

Watching a child grow from a tiny newborn into a curious toddler is an amazing experience, and teaching toddlers the many skills they need to learn is a rewarding job. By the time a child becomes a toddler they are ready to explore the world around them and are beginning to grasp basic verbal, physical, and social skills. Three year olds have very different needs than younger toddlers and strengthen the skills that they have learned since birth.
There are some common traits that most three year olds share although every child is different and develops at their own pace. If your child is soon to be three, here are six things you should know about your three year old.
Many children, especially boys, aren’t ready for potty training until they’re three. Many parents expect their children to be potty trained by three years old but many children aren’t ready to begin the process until age three, and this is perfectly normal.
Three year olds are learning new words every day and are usually talking in 3-5 word sentences. Because they are learning so many new words it is normal to stumble over words but this is not stuttering and usually does not indicate a problem.
Some parents of toddlers are inclined to talk down to their child using overly simplified words or “baby talk.” However, the best way to help your three year old develop proper speech is to talk with them using regular language with plenty of descriptive words.
Most three year olds enjoy imitating people and animals, especially those they are around on a daily basis. Three year olds will mimic what they see during play and will begin to emulate people that are close to them.
By age three children begin to develop the social skills necessary to play cooperatively with other children. Three year olds begin to share, take turns, and can tolerate delayed gratification, most of the time.
Three year olds also start to develop vivid imaginations and will often engage in imaginative play. They enjoy making up stories, pretending, and acting out their favorite books, stories, and TV shows.
Three year olds are still developing many important skills as they learn about the world around them. Teaching toddlers skills such as using the potty, how to play cooperatively, and the correct use of language become easier for three year olds who have developed the attention span and understanding needed for these tasks.

A child’s first bed is one of the most important things in itself. From birth until about 5 years, your baby will spend most of his or her times asleep. Buying a comfortable, safe, and high quality crib for your child is important to their health and well being. Sleep is when we develop and grow the most, so without proper conditions their sleep could be disrupted.
Even though babies don’t move much, when they get a little older they will. Having a crib that can withstand jumping, thrashing, chewing, and a lot of movement is important. Some babies spend their first 5 years in a crib, so a good durable one is necessary.
The surroundings of a crib is also important. There are many styles, but the most commonly used style has bars surrounding it, and a footboard and headboard. These bars look nice, but can be dangerous. Choose a crib style that does not have large gaps between the bars or too small of gaps. Large ones will result in your child getting their head or body stuck ,and small ones will result in fingers and tiny hands getting stuck.
Cushioned crib walls are also a good thing to look for. You can typically buy crib sets that come with them, but if its already built in that can be even better. Little babies often roll and thrash, and when they get older they are likely to hit their head often. If the walls of the crib are too hard or blunt, this can cause some serious damages to your child.
While not related to safety, finding a crib that is quality and has a good price is essential. No one wants to spend a lot of cash on a crib that is just crappy, or falls apart. The best kinds of baby cribs are ones that can last forever, as a heirloom, and for your child’s future children.
Looking online for cribs and discounts is also a good idea. Never buy a used crib, because anything could be wrong with it. Reviews, and other sources can be a good start for finding the perfect baby crib.
Closing Comments
Your child’s first bed is just as important as all of the other firsts. Consider your tastes and budget, and buy what you truly love. However, Safety should always come first when purchasing your babies crib.

At the birth of a first child, there will be many decisions made about parenting. For some, those decisions will involve bedroom patterns, baby’s first outfit home and the best bottles to use for feeding. For other parents, however, the parenting style will weigh more heavily on the mind than any other decision. One path available to the parent is by raising children with the laissez-faire parenting style. This parenting style allows for a step back from traditional parenting and a step toward an independent child.
Laissez-Faire can be associated with a “laid back” type of attitude. But, raising children with the laissez-faire parenting style does not mean sitting by and allowing your child to do what they want, when they want to. It is about stepping out of the limelight and offering knowledge to the child in order to allow them to make an educated decision on their own as opposed to deciding everything for them.
Leave bottle weaning to baby. Bottle weaning can be a tough time for both baby and parent. Instead of forcing a child to give up the suckling action hen they are not ready, raising children with the laissez-faire parenting style offers the choice to the child. A straw can be utilized as a way to get baby to stop with the bottle and pick up a new trick. Once they learn how to use the straw, they will no longer feel so stuck on the bottle.
No potty training. On more of a lead by example route, choosing the art of raising children with the laissez-faire parenting style means never having to force a child to sit on the potty for hours. All that is needed is an open door and some time. Leaving the door open when raising children with the laissez-faire parenting style means showing the child how to use the bathroom over and over again. Eventually, though maybe later that you would like, the child will choose to give up those diapers for the ease of the toilet.
No influencing decisions. One of the main things a parent raising children with the laissez-faire parenting style can do is to allow the child to choose the paths of life for themselves. When asked a question that requires a decision on the child’s part, the parent must offer knowledge about all of the choices but decide none. If the child is stuck choosing between soccer, volleyball and ballet, offer real knowledge about each and them leave the decision in the court of the child.
Mistakes are okay. Children are going to make mistakes and that is what raising children with the laissez-faire parenting style is all about. Mistakes are what change us, mold us and teach us about life and how the decisions we make affect us later.
To choose raising children with the laissez-faire parenting style means to choose the ideals that physical parenting is less likely to help a child than parenting through guidance. The guidance allowed with raising children with the laissez-faire parenting style will show the child the right paths of life and growth.
Stepping back from the more traditional parenting styles and into raising children with the laissez-faire parenting style is a big step. Take each day head on and try your best to stay objective. No one said raising children with the laissez-faire parenting style was going to be easy and no one said the laid back attitude was going to benefit the parent.

Deciding to apply for adoption is not an easy decision to make as there are many aspects to discuss, nevertheless, it is an important step for anyone to make as there are physical, psychological and emotional matters to take into consideration. Adoption law in America is complicated and legal requirements are different in each state in addition to Federal laws to overcome.this is an area not to be underestimated, because without the compliance of both, it will not proceed. Under the circumstances it is understandable that many people give up before they start, however, knowing what is required by the authorities can make a big difference.
The term is used for an agreement between one or two adults that become the legal parents of a child, sometimes the child may have no family or they are a ward of court. Issues that complicate the selection process are because the new parent(s) must take full legal responsibility for the child, the child will be given equal rights with any other child the person or couple may already have. In effect, the adopted child becomes a new member of the family as if he or she had been born to the new parents and includes the right of inheritance should they die.
Many aspects are taken into consideration before the adoption process is complete, including the divulgence of the adopted childs real parents, this helps to ensure that no unfair tactics have been used during the application. The difficulty of determining biological parentage varies, depending on state law, and other surrounding circumstances, there are occasions where a child may be a ward of the court or their parents have died. On situation that is not straightforward is where the real mother is very young, where after the adoption takes place, all rights of a parent are removed from her.
Every applicant planning to adopt must carry out a home study before the request can be approved, the government has made this a part of the application that must be adhered too. The purpose of the home study is to provide proof that the adopted child will grow up in a clean, well balanced environment that is safe and secure. In a home study, a children’s social worker will conduct a criminal background check, they also carefully assess the safety aspect of the home environment plus the medical records of the new parents.
If the home study is in the adoptive parents favor, a child will be matched to them and once this is done, they will only have to wait for the placement to happen. Before the process is complete the family judge must carefully consider all the information regarding the child, their real parents and the adoptive parents. Like any other legislation in the country, adoption laws are also constantly changing, therefore, it is always wise to check on the most up to date information before anyone considers applying.

Wedding plans and marriage arrangements will never be complete and would go on and on even till the marriage function is over. New ideas usually pop up in the last moment and make the process even more complicated. But following few wedding plan tips can be of great use and the marriage function can be made successful this way. It is also essential to see to that the wedding plan tips you follow should also be practical and simple. The point is that it should help you in making the process simple and does not work the other way. Below listed are few tips which would help you in making the process simple and the occasion even more grand and organized.
All the wedding plan tips will start with this basic tip – make a checklist. You must make a list of everything that needs to be done and whether you like it or not the list will keep extending till the last minute, a new item will be added every hour to the checklist. While preparing the checklist for your marriage, first list all the items as they come to your mind once you have created a list of considerable size, categorize the items under various headings such as clothing, decorations, invitations, food etc. As you keep accomplishing each task check them off and this will relieve you from a great deal of tension.
One more important point in wedding plan tips is to make a second list in which the work to be done in the same localities are clubbed together. This way all the work done in a specific locality would all be done when you visit the place. This would not only reduce time but would also remove the tension of going to the same place again and again. All the tension and the marriage anxiety would be reduced to a good percentage.
As no one would like their marriage day to be messy or disorganized, every little thing which needs to be addressed should be taken care of. Simplicity is proved to be more powerful than any thing else. So this point in wedding plan tips is very important. As normally the marriage fear and anxiety itself would add on to one’s tension, the tasks which are to be accomplished should be very simple and easy to handle. This would completely relieve you from the tensions and make your day grand.
The next in wedding plan tips come the point which insists the couple to start the marriage arrangements well in advance. Giving good enough time, at least twelve months time, would be good. This would give you enough time to plan and arrange for the marriage and as well get you time for mentally getting ready for the marriage.
Many people make the mistake of handling all the tasks by themselves. They will not be able to delegate any work to others for the fear that others would mess them up. However, some of the things can certainly be handled by others even without your supervision. Some of the best wedding plan tips online suggest that delegating the right tasks is essential to make others also feel part of the marriage day celebration.
Besides getting help from your family and close friends you can also hire attendants to help you out on various tasks. In your checklist for the marriage preparation mark out the tasks those can be done by hired assistants. Having the work split up this way is one of the best wedding plan tips that you can follow. This will reduce a considerable amount of pressure off your back.
Above all the wedding plan tips, the most important thing is that you have to constantly remind yourself that it is not another work or chore that you are performing so that you can get it done with it. You are preparing just not for a day’s celebration but for your marriage day that you can remember all your life. Remember to stay tuned to your inner feelings during this special time of marriage preparations and give priority to your gut feelings over any and all of the wedding plan tips.

I was just returning to the work force after having several surgeries in the past 4 years. I was seeking work from home, but I have no idea where to even start my search because I knew that there was many scam site’s and I did not want to get caught up in anything such as that.
I recieved an e-mail from a top TV program, and it opened up so many oppurtunities. The site gave me FREE information about work at home jobs, and best of all, it was legitimate! This was such a sign, as I’d been looking for some time now.
I then became a member of the forum. The site had so much information about other work at home jobs and sites, and other useful, everyday information. You could even start your own questions and ask that members give their best opinion.
My past working experience consisted mainly of working in customer experience. I expected a lower pay, since of the many work at home advantages. I wasn’t sure what to expect as in terms of pay for working at home jobs.
I was extremely surprised when I applied at some of the sites because the pay where I had applied was at least minimum wage. Now I had been thinking because it was work from home it would have been somewhat less, but here you got at least this amount.
I decided that I needed a work at home job that did not require phone work. I had four grandchildren living at home with me, so a quiet environment to do phone work would be impossible. One company I applied for, that required no phone work, sent me an e-mail saying I begin working that day! I had heard new owners over took the company and had cut the pay by half. I took the position with the company and receive a pay of about .50 per 1000 keystrokes. The pay isn’t excellent, but I’m excited I got the job because I’ve heard many others applied and hadn’t received anything back.
Other positions or job’s listed here pay extremely well and even more so if you have experience or a degree in certain area’s. Some companies are paying work from home mom’s a handsome hourly rate between 12.00 and 14.00 per hour. Now that’s some good pay for work from home. While other’s pay according to the work that you complete and that pay varies from company to company.
So to sum this page altogether, I feel that work from home is now a worldwide industry and has many advantages to it. Realistically you can make just as much working from home as you can working in an office or factory. The pay pretty much is determined by your skills and your ability to work your computer. Even if you are making minimum wage you still have the many advantages from working at home. So a realistic pay for work from home really depends on your level of skills. With the many job positions on line I’m sure you can find a reasonable paying position, because even the minimum wage jobs are I feel is a reasonable pay .
